Recently, 4 new masjids were put into use in different parts of the country in honor of the blessed night of Qadr in the holy month of Ramadan.

The newly opened masjids were named "Hazar Masjid", "Ruhubelent Masjid", "Jeyhun Masjid" and "Merv Masjid", respectively.

Additionally, these masjids are located in Hazar town of Balkanabat, Balkan province; Ruhubelent etrap, Dashoguz province; Dovetli town of Khojambaz etrap, Lebap province; and Shatlyk town of Sakarchage etrap, Mary province, and will serve religious followers widely.

The construction and surrounding repair works were carried out by Turkmen private enterprises. In the newly opened masjids, in honor of the holy month, as well as the blessed Night of Qadr, almsgivings were given and tarawa prayers were performed. It should be noted that recently in the provinces of the country, including in the masjids of Ashgabat and Arkadag, memorial offerings were made in honor of this blessed month.
