New plans for plasterboard factory

In Turkmenistan, they plan to create an economic company Türkmen gips with the participation of the Koytendag Quarry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan and Ak bulut. According to official Turkmen media, this proposal was put forward in order to implement measures to develop the industrial sector, establish the production of export-oriented and import-substituting products, provided for by the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022–2028.”

 

At the new enterprise in the city of Dostluk, Koytendag etrap, Lebap velayat, it is planned to produce 250 thousand tons of dry construction mixtures and 20 million square meters of plasterboard products per year, which will create additional jobs. During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan noted that the enterprise for the production of modern building materials will contribute to the further effective development of the country’s industrial sector, instructing the Vice-Premier to continue work in this direction. A number of priority issues of public life were also discussed at the government meeting.
