Turkmenistan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mahri Bashimova, held a meeting in Ashgabat with the United Arab Emirates’ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkmenistan, Ahmed Al-Hai Hamad Khamis Al-Hameli. During the meeting, the sides discussed ongoing preparations for the upcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3), scheduled to take place in August in Avaza.

According to Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting also focused on key areas of bilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UAE. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the strategic partnership.

At the end of the meeting, the diplomats also reviewed matters related to organizing joint events and emphasized the importance of active collaboration between the two countries within multilateral international platforms.
