The city of Anew in Turkmenistan was chosen as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. The right decision was agreed upon by everyone at a meeting in Bursa, Turkey.

The 40th meeting of the group of ministers of culture from Turkic countries will take place on October 13-14, 2023 in Shusha, Azerbaijan. Shusha is known as the cultural capital of the Turkic world. At the meeting, they will talk about TURKSOY's work, share their plans for 2024, and make important decisions. During the meeting, it will be said that the city of Anew in Turkmenistan will become the "Cultural Capital of the Turkiс World" in 2024.

Next year, we are getting ready for a list of cultural events. These events will have creative groups and representatives from other countries joining. The organizations are planning to have events like science, youth, and media discussions, concerts by popular singers, traditional music performances, art exhibitions, photo displays, and more. Additionally, there will be national creative events in Anew that will be supported by TURKSOY.
