On June 15, 2025, a delegation from Turkmenistan, led by the Chairman of the Democratic Party of Turkmenistan, A. The forum, organized by the “New Azerbaijan Party,” brought together politicians, experts, and party representatives from countries including Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
 

In his address, the head of Turkmenistan's delegation highlighted the significance of the country's legal status of permanent neutrality and its peace-oriented foreign policy, which underpin Turkmenistan’s international strategy.
 

As part of the visit, the delegation held meetings with key Azerbaijani officials, including Tahir Budagov, Deputy Chairman of the “New Azerbaijan Party”; Adalet Veliyev, Head of the Department for Relations with Political Parties and Legislative Authority under the Presidential Administration; as well as Ziyafet Askerov and Ali Ahmedov, Deputy Chairmen of the Milli Mejlis (National Assembly) of Azerbaijan.
