On March 24, at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, the head of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced his new book entitled “Anau — culture originated from the millenia.” According to the words of our highly esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the book was written on the occasion of the announcement of Anau city  in 2024 as the “Cultural Capital of the Turkic world” in 2024.

In his introductory speech of the book, Serdar Berdimuhamedov mentioned about the outstanding discoveries made in Turkmenistan by such world-famous archaeologists as Vadim Masson, Raphael Pampelli, Victor Sarianidi. The President of Turkmenistan and also mentioned that , the initiatives of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the development of archaeological activities in Turkmenistan occupies a wide place. This great contribution was base for historical sources that were collected. And these information, evidences and excavations contributed to the creation of a new book.

And also Hero Serdar with Arkadag noted that the work would be a gift to the Turkmen people in a year under the motto “Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi.” And as a young generation  in the future we will take advantage of and follow the example of this newly-released information-enriched source.
