Turkmen scientist has conducted a research about sunflowers on saline lands

Y. Palyazova, a lecturer at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, studied the resistance of sunflowers to saline soils, their yield, and fertilization needs. She researched the "Sanluca" hybrid for three years, finding that it has high yield potential on moderately saline soil with proper fertilization. This research is valuable for improving agricultural technology and effective land use.
The specialist chose a heterotic sunflower hybrid as an experiment, not by chance. Many sunflower varieties were tested for their productivity on different soils in Dashoguz Velayat.
